Library Documents Missing on Mobile App

Audeus stores your document library in the cloud and automatically syncs your files, reading progress, and highlights across all devices. If you upload a PDF, EPUB, or Word document using the web reader on your computer, it should appear in your mobile library.

If you do not see your uploaded files on your phone or tablet, it is almost always because your web reader and mobile app are logged into different email accounts.


Why Web Reader Documents are Missing from the Mobile App

Because your Audeus library is tied to your login credentials, logging in with different email addresses on your computer and mobile device creates two separate, unconnected libraries. Mismatching logins prevent your uploaded files and folder structures from syncing between devices.


Verify Your Login Emails on Web and Mobile

To check if you are logged into different accounts:

  • On the Web Reader: Open your dashboard settings or click your profile menu in the navigation bar to see your current login email.
  • On the Mobile App: Navigate to the settings tab and locate the profile section to verify your active login email.

If the email addresses do not match exactly, you are using two different accounts.


How to Sync Your Web Library to Your Mobile App

To connect your devices to the same library:

  1. Open settings inside the mobile app.
  2. Tap the option to log out of your current session.
  3. Sign back in using the exact email address displayed on your web reader profile.

Your library documents, folders, and custom reading settings will automatically sync to your mobile device.

Troubleshooting Login Mismatches

  • Try other email addresses: If the emails do not match, try logging in with other email addresses you own (such as secondary personal, school, or work accounts) on both devices to find which account contains your library.
  • Typo in email address: If you notice a typo or misspelling in your registered web email address, you will need to update it to connect your accounts. Follow the steps in our guide on Cannot Access Your Account Email to request an email update.
